Never has a Diva completely dominated her division like Beth Phoenix has. She put Candice on the shelf and has beaten every challenger who stood before her for almost a year.

Know that she's beating men, she reminds me of Chyna back in the day. Beth has not seen the last of The Women's Championship and will keep on destroying competition for years to come.

Christy Hemme was the lone TNA addition to the top ten womens wrestlers from last month.
So why are the WWE Divas so dominant?
Better PR?
Well considering most of the women wrestlers on the list aren't actually wrestling anymore, technically out of CURRENT wrestlers, TNA might rank higher.
The WWE Divas are more " pin-up" and the TNA Knockouts are more wrestling. It's just the way the WWE and TNA promotes it's female wrestlers.
But will that change if Gail Kim does go to the WWE?
Will the WWE become more serious with its womens division?

MICKIE JAMES PROFILE

>Mickie James made her debut in wrestling in the summer of 1999. She was best known as Alexis Laree during her days on the indy circuit. Laree started out as a valet, but within due time, she decided to step into the ring and become a wrestler herself. She wrestled for various indy promotions for several years. Laree's indy work would lead her to NWA-TNA in 2003. Laree would manage Raven during her coffee cup stint in NWA-TNA. Laree eventually left TNA to sign a developmental deal with WWE in August of 2003.

Soon after signing with WWE, Alexis Laree transferred over to Ohio Valley Wrestling. After being bypassed for several other women for two long years, it seemed as though that Laree would never be called up to the majors. However, in July of 2005, Laree received word that she would finally be called up to WWE. Laree was CM Punk's valet at a WWE Heat taping on July 25, 2005. Unfortunately, the match never aired because WWE officials were not impressed with their work. It was back to the minors for the both of them. Would Alexis Laree ever catch a break?

After several years of toiling on the indy circuit, Laree finally hit it big when she was called up to WWE in October of 2005. Under the guise of her real name, Mickie James was billed as an obsessed fan of Trish Stratus. For weeks on end, Mickie would idolize and mimic her idol. After Trish broke her heart, it was Mickie's time to shine when she overcame the odds to unseat Trish for the WWE Women's Championship at Wrestlemania 22. She would later lose the belt to Lita on an episode of RAW in August 2006

Roxxi Laveaux - The Bald Knockout

If you missed TNA Sacrifice then you missed one hell of a show. The Knockouts excelled in an entertaining battle royal - we'll exclude Traci from the mix as her elimination was pathetic. Roxxi & Gail outlasted all of the other women and battled it out in a bloody ladder match for the chance to face Awesome Kong for the Knockouts Championship. Sadly for Roxxi she wasn't destined to win the ladder bout and was left bald - thanks to the Beautiful People. The devious Angelina & Velvet took great delight in assisting Gail alongside laughing their asses off as Roxxi was shaved bald.

This week on iMPACT fans will get to see a night of revenge as Roxxi joins forces with the uncontrollable ODB to battle the Beautiful People in a tag team match. What will happen when the voodoo queen gets her hands on Angelina & Velvet? Sparks will certainly fly this Thursday!!!

Local Melissa Trinidad on 'American Gladiators

Bloodthirsty Tampa Bay TV viewers will have not only Hulk Hogan to look forward to upon the return of American Gladiators on Monday, but a local contestant, as well. Melissa Trinidad is a 30-year-old children's martial arts instructor from Brandon who will be testing her mettle on the show's season premiere.

According to NBC, Trinidad is certified black belt and single mom, which probably comes in handy at some point. She'll be tough to see onscreen, however, since she's a mere 5-foot-1. Up until now the only person we've had to root for is Atlantic Beach native Whitney on the CW's America's Next Top Model (who's in the top three), so it'll be fun to see another Floridian kick some butt.
